They showed no empathy to vulnerable family. Horrible services, avoid!

After initial assessment was told son likely had adhd and was being referred on. Given loads of forms to fill in. Forms were returned to office by hand so no chance of going missing in the post. Waited months just to hear from the school nurse he had been discharged due to no contact from me. Been struggling with him ever since and it's impossible to get him seen by anyone again.

I'm quite shocked at some of these reviews. My 9 year old accessed this service and we both found it really helpful. Not sure if I am able to name people, but our case worker was absolutely brilliant and just totally 'got' my daughter! He came up with some strategies to help my daughter copy with her anxiety day to day. I never expected my child to be 'fixed' but she has definitely learnt slowly to deal with her anxiety as part of her personality and is now able to use coping mechanisms with the help of the adults around her.

Rude staff (receptionists are lovely though) one lady who shall remain nameless.. it would seem I'm one of many sent to AE with my terrified teenager. Dr's discharge children to lighten their workload. A dangerous service for our most vulnerable children. They call themselves \Healthy young minds\ hilarious!
