I went into the store in search of holiday fabrics for the purpose of making bandanas and photo backdrops. I will admit that I wasn't super impressed with the selection of holiday prints, but it was close to Christmas when I went, so I imagine much of the fabric had already been picked over. The lady at the cutting station told me she was just about to clock out and I thought I was going to have to wait for another employee to help me. However, after realizing the relieving employee was no where to be seen, she went ahead and helped me anyway so I wouldn't have to wait around. The cashier who checked me out was also very nice.

Store is 1/2 fabrics, 1/4 hobbies and crafts, 1/4 decorations. Love looking at the craft and decoration items. Lots of ideas and many free instructional fliers. A nice selection of clearance items. Fun place to take a few photos.
Pretty cool place. Especially if your wife (husband, partner in crime) likes to make lots of stuff. Because stuff to makes stuff, they have! Good deals and selection. Easy to keep your better/worse/other half entertained
I can nearly always find what I need at Joann's -- fabric, crafts, seasonal decor. This time I needed advice on color/fabric matching to finish a dress for my granddaughter. The sakes woman was super friendly and helpful. All staff were correctly masked. Of the three craft stores in Topeka, Joann's is my go-to!
Lots of great sales and clearance items! Staff is friendly and helpful - especially Tracie! Lots of variety and if they don't carry something they will help you order it.
