Bought a California from SMG Tonbridge in 2020 and from day one when we ordered it to the collection everything was spot on, I could have not asked for a better service. Laine was just the best, knowledgeable, helpful, polite... he is just too good for this job. Helped us with insurance too, answered all our questions, email and sorted out a little issue we had when we went to collect our Cali. To be honest if you are new to campervan and want to be reassured and having to deal with a honest dealer just go to SMG Tonbridge and you will not regret it. We went from Cambridge, just because after all dealers we called to arrange a view, Laine sounded the perfect guy to help us out... and we know we made the best choice that day! Thank you Laine for making a dream come true and assisting us to your best !! (We forgot to take a picture with you) Antonella & Cristian

Bought a used T6 (9 months old) from SMG Tonbridge, it being agreed that one of the rear wheel arches would be repaired. Upon collection it was noted the repair had not been carried out. I was to hear the following week to arrange a book in date for the repair. It took 3 months of phone calls, emails, visits in person and finally a letter to the manager asking for the work to be done before it was finally repaired! The smart repair is of poor quality, awful colour match and even the clear lacquer has a cloudy look. Scratch marks from sanding down the filler are also clearly visible! A few weeks later the T6 is back with SMG with a faulty sensor and rear door latch, wheel arch repair pointed out to service dept' who would show the sales manager. When I collected I was assured (as per phone call) the manager has seen it and would phone to discuss, 9 weeks on I'm still waiting! Clearly SMG are not interested in their customers returning! How is this customer satisfaction? I won't be returning in a hurry.... UPDATE As a result of this review I received a call from the sales manager who apologised thinking this matter had been resolved. It now being agreed to put the work right and I should hear the following week to arrange to get this problem sorted. 7 weeks later I'm still waiting!! Very poor service again and seems they're just after your money from the sale of the vehicle. Surely it can't be right that the repair actually looks worse than the original damage?
