Words will never adequately describe how helpful PBI was in helping me begin a very happy life in sobriety! The tools they provided me continue to be invaluable in my life. The therapists, counselors and staff were absolutely wonderful. They demonstrated that they really care about their clients. Here’s my story... When I came to PBI on January 1st 2019 I didn’t know what to except since this was my first time getting clean in the 10 years of using... but I was welcomed and made to feel at home not only by the people who were here for recovery, but also by the staff... a few people touched my life in a way they will never understand by explaining to me what addiction is and what can happen to me in the real world. Those people I will shout out.. Melissa (therapist), Paige (therapist), Hannah (tech) Hannah (case manager) and Byrd (tech)... because of them I have their words of wisdom and love they showed me when I needed it the most . I have continued my recovery no matter where I am such as halfway, moving into a different city with my partner, or back home with my parents. Not only did this place change my life the saved it. I’m almost 24 and now I’m able to start a life I always wanted.. I suggest this place to anyone who wants to be clean and wants to learn a new way to live! Thank you everyone! If you’re reading this stay strong and make that phone call because you could be me one day being extremely happy and facing life in a whole new way!

I attended PBI when I was struggling with addiction. It was one of my first experiences with trying to get help. The staff was caring and comforting, the intake from out of state was smooth. They set me up with transportation and a lot of medical attention and emotional support. They seemed to care about my overall well-being and they offered a lot of fun activities. The therapy was transforming and the care I received from the staff changed my life. I will never forget some of those people. I felt safe at this facility for the first time ever. I am still sober. I have to say Pbi is by the far the nicest detox center I have ever been to! It’s very clean and comfortable, it was so nice to be in a actual bedroom with a bathroom in the room. They were great at getting and giving me the medications I needed to properly detox and to help me feel as comfortable as possible! And the meals were delicious! I loved that they had a soda machine as well! Everyone was very kind and encouraging!! I am still sober today and I thank Pbi for helping me get there!!
