This place is insane. The food is incredibly tasty, the prices are good, and the atmosphere is very nice too. Thank you for the meals Mosque Kitchen, I appreciate it.

Very delicious food! I recommend this restaurant as they have variety of dishes. Chicken, lamb, and vegetables curries. Good spot for vegetarians too. Not all of them are spicy. The chicken curry is not spicy, my little girl loved it!! It's also big portion and affordable at the same time. Staff are kind too.

The mosque kitchen is fine but there's something about it which misses the point. There are perhaps 10 dishes to choose from but if the person serving you put two ladles of the first two dishes onto your pile of rice there is no room for more. It sort of kills the generous spirit which undoubtedly is there. Food needs to be served delicately, even served spiritually. Slopping on giant portions means there is no room on the plate for all the other delicious options. The servers need to learn how to serve gently and responsively!

Our first stop whilst in Edinburgh having just arrived from England last Friday (first ever visit to Scotland). Lovely owner, very helpful and welcoming. Myself and the kids enjoyed the various rice dishes. Large portions -filling, tasty, not too spicy and all at a reasonable price. Thank you for the ice creams on the house, a great first taste of Scottish hospitality!

2 (vegan) curries with rice and naan for about 7, incredibly curries (although one was a bit too spicy for me but I’m not too good with spice) would recommend will definitely be coming again!!
