If you want nothing done for you and to never receive your money back, go here. I hired Zach Phillips for a CHINS and criminal case. The criminal case wasn’t handled at all by him as I was never even provided my probable cause by him. I called for a second opinion after 6 months of the run around with Zach. The other attorneys office provided me with my probable cause and told me the state had even sent over an initial plea to Zach that he never told me about either. This criminal case ended up getting dismissed with only having a public defender. If I would’ve stuck with Zach I would’ve ended up with a charge. He never kept me updated on the case and went for a deferment. If the probable cause were to had even been looked at by him, we would’ve subpoenaed the recorded tapes during an interview which led to a pending charge. I have been calling since July 2020 for my money owed on this criminal case only to always be told they will give the message to Zach and I never get called back. He made an already extremely difficult time even harder for me which is the exact opposite thing an attorney should be doing for you. Firing him was the best thing I could’ve done. Now they need to refund me as he only went to ONE short court appearance and was paid 3200 to represent me. I will be taking other routes to get my money owed back since they are crooks here. Oh and I’m still getting a bill for 75 from the CHINS case after never receiving my refunded amount from criminal. You guys are a joke and will not be receiving that payment until I am paid what is owed.
