My girl started at "The Lab" as a some-what shy 5 year old. She loved dancing and wouldn't come out of her shell around others. Within 2 months of being at the Lab, she has blossomed, her confidence has sky-rocketed and she absolutely LOVES coming to "The Lab". The teachers are so welcoming and understanding. They are also fun and loving; and make all the classes enjoyable. Their experience and love of what they do is evident in the way they approach each class and different dance type with such professionalism and passion. My girl has tried the varying dance types from ballet to acro to hip hop and contemporary. I couldn't recommend The Lab any higher. It is a lovely family environment and unless the world ends, I feel we will be here for many years to come. (*cue the walking frames for us oldies ) Thank you Liana and the amazing team for all you do for my girl (and the other children and parents).

Amazing studio this is my daughters 3rd year here. We never thought we could find a studio she loves .She’s been to multiple studios before and we can’t find a better one than The LAB .All the staff are incredibly encouraging and supportive and very helpful they treat everyone with dignity and respect and will cheer on everyone and won’t let anyone down. If you looking for a well hygienic and clean place for you child I definitely recommend The LAB.

Amazing. We have been around to a fair amount of dance schools and can not fault the LAB. I have a 4 year old son and a 12 year old daughter. Every singly staff member is loving, caring, and knows their stuff. The amount of effort they put into all facets of the classes is insane, and the more you look into it the more you will see. The small details, the lessons the kids learn and come back and tell me. My youngest son was telling me about team work and its benefits, and my daughter (now high school student - kill me) was telling me about growing up and being nice to one another and not speaking ill of others. This is more then just dance! These people are incredible and i am grateful my kids have mentors like Liana, Barry, Jake, Nicola, Pete, Blake, David, Stephanie and Carmelo to look up to. What a place!!

AMAZING TEACHERS, AMAZING SPACE, AMAZING CLASSES. My kids (girls aged 3, 6 & 15) LOVEEEEEEEE IT. I feel proud to have my kids here, and my kids are proud to walk around telling people they dance at the LAB. From caring teachers to impeccable studio rooms ----- You won't find a better studio. They put their heart and soul into everything including their events, and if you can't see it then i don''t know what to say. GO THE LAB!!

The LAB .... where do i start !!! I can't praise this school enough. The team at LAB go above and beyond to make sure the kids have an educational yet fun experience. My girls have been with the LAB for the past 3 years over which time not only have I noticed growth in their dance skills but also in their overall confidence, which I believe is of credit to the staff at LAB and for that I can't thank them enough. The teachers have a vast experience in different dance genres and their technique is so unbelievable that I as a 40 year old mother have joined their adult dance classes. On Friday night they hosted an Easter Block Party (a fundraiser for the students travelling to learn and compete in America later this year) which my kids are still talking about .... from movies to dance battles, easter raffles, show bags and egg hunts and to top it all off the kids entertained us with an amazing dance performance which ran on time and smoothly. We had 6 weeks work of notice, the studio was full of signage and they were very accommodating to parents who both had small children, and parents who worked late. Thank you to all the friendly staff at the LAB for their amazing work and everything they continue to do for us.

I wrote a bad review of the lab on friday last week. I have since deleted this review because the LAB responded to this review by discussing my child and another child by name in this review forum which I find completely inappropriate. There are duty of care and privacy issues that need to be considered when discussing children online. They also intimated that my child has ADHD - which is frankly also inappropriate given they are not behavioural paediatricians. His paediatricians have not made this diagnosis. My initial critique of the LAB had nothing to do with his behaviour, and I had no issue with their attempt engage him differently by changing the class he was in. My issue lies in the fact that they did this without discussing it with me first and only did so when I questioned what was going on. The changes in class was from a 45minutes class to a 30 minute class and I commented this was not reimbursed. My critique also had to do with the LAB hosting an end of term party, and structuring it so that many of the activities were set at a really poor time for young children (after 7pm for 2-5yr olds. Instead of accepting my poor review they decided to publicly discuss my child and another child in this review forum which is totally inappropriate. This is why I deleted my initial review.
