i have attended this school for multiple years and my experience has been incredibly traumatic. the teachers are harsh and unmerciful, there is an inhumane litter picking service for people who are late, little to no diversity in the staff (the majority of whom are white) and the minimal funding goes to unnecessary things. there are multiple leaks around the school in different classrooms, which let in water when it rains, and despite the multiple complaints that have been registered over them, they have remained unfixed for the last few years. there are ableistic tendencies, as there is no sign language club, all the students are forced to take religious studies at gcse level, there are no support groups for lgbtq students or students of ethnic minorities, the faculty are often cruel to those who arent \perfect\, the office staff are unhelpful at best and downright unpleasant at wors and the IT systems are forever breaking and out of use. only last week the school saw a breach in it's safety when people not from the school gained access to the school servers and interrupted some lessons. and not to get started on the uniform. we have been forbidden trousers, and see no hope in getting the right to wear them in future, which can be damaging to the students who may be struggling with body/gender dysphoria, and who may be uncomfortable dressing femininely. as someone who has struggled with the above for most of my adolescence, i know what a help wearing trousers at school would have been for my progression into feeling more comfortable with my identity. all in all: if you are contemplating sending your child here, dont. it will likely damage their experience as a child and perhaps impact their learning.

The school isn't that bad it just really depends on the behaviour and attitude from the students towards their learning. Most of the teachers are very kind and friendly. The uniform is expensive but the students look very smart and prestigious in them. During passing period it gets really cramped and squashed up and at first it is very confusing on where to go but during the first two to three weeks your child would settle in. It is really up to you if you would like to send your daughter to this school. It is really decent in my opinion and would recommend They Grey Coat Hospital to girls who are eager to study and really care about their future and education, good luck to the students applying this year wish you well!

I m giving 1 star because I have been put off by the way I have been treated by the receptionist on the very first time I was going to the school for information. Not a friendly person, no smile, not happy face and nearly rude. The only thing she was just saying about all the questions I was asking her, go online, everything is online. Well, online is a robot and you are a person, but i could not make a difference between her and a robot. A good school or not, It will be more interesting for me to send my daughter to a school where I feel welcome on the very 1st day I step in the school.

I attended The Greycoat Hospital for 3 years and I don't even know where to start with explaining how horrendous my experience was. To start with there is a lot of bullying that goes undealt with. Not only between students but also between students and teachers. The deputy head teacher has literally screamed in student's faces, numerous times. I had to leave GCH because by the time year 10 came I point blank refused to go to school because of how traumatised I was. My mental health has been destroyed in every sense of the word from attending this school and leaving was the best decision I ever made. Do not ket your child attend this scum they call a school. Any and every child deserves better.
