The staff are all experts and know their stuff - actually ended up saving me a few euro by recommending something more suitable for me! Really took the pain out of replacing my fire. Called to the showrooms as I was interested in upgrading my solid fuel fire. Eric sized my room and advised the output required. At the time the stove seemed very small to me compared to the open fire. Well I have to say he was spot on. The recent cold and wet spell was easily defeated by the output, indeed at times I put more than enough on the fire resulting in it being necessary to leave the door ajar, My fuel consumption has diminished and a bonus is the room retains the heat overnight, presumably as the open chimney is no longer. Erick told me where to find an installer Tom who was super efficient in carrying out the installation (no dirt in the room so I didn't incur the wrath of my wife), Tom was here and gone without any hassle. Well done lads
I just purchased my electric fireplace from the Gas Company in December and found the whole experience very easy and Eric was very helpful and full of advice for the best option for me. I love it in my sitting room so cozy and heat adjustments and flame effects are exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend the Gas Company.
It is getting more and more difficult to find a company that will actually pick up the phone and have the answers to your questions. I've been really impressed by the team at TheGasCompany.ie - Dean walked me through my options and explained to me clearly the different routes I could take, he made everything very straightforward and easy to understand. Delighted with my new high efficiency fire!
Very friendly and helpful staff when I was purchasing my gas stove. I paid a deposit in November 2015 and stove arrived in to Dublin early 2016. It took almost 5 months to have it fitted between wrong and broken parts which had to be replaced together with their fitter's non availability. It is now 1 YEAR since I paid my deposit. I haven't been able to use this expensive purchase yet. The fitter provided by The Gas Company never returns calls or texts. The instruction manual says the customer MUST be shown how to use the appliance. A disgrace!
Such an easy company to deal with, what a breath of fresh air at a time like this. From my first e-mail to follow ups from the office everyone was great to deal with. So well organised. Two fitters came and fitted my new gas fire, one to make the opening suitable and the other was a gas installer. Called a day in advance to set a time that suited me. Very polite and careful I could not ask for better professionals in my home. Very friendly people and showed me how to operate the new controls. Beautiful gas fire now fitted and couldn't be happier with the end result!

I would highly recommend this retailer if your in the line to purchase a new inserted fire in your home. When i arrived i was helped by a staff member, Eric was his name. When i told him what i was looking for he went through all the options available to me. He gave me a great demonstration of the fire i liked. I was amazed of all the functions it had. And what really impressed me was their customer service i was swaying with a more expensive option and instead of letting me purchase and gaining more money from me, instead they looked at my measurements and assured me the cheaper smaller fire would fit better. Now I would really impressed with that. I had a builder fitting mine as part of my build so didn't need a fitting service. He did offer the option of fitting. I paid the next day and following day it arrived. Thanks so much
