This was the second facility I visited before deciding that this was the place where I wanted to go. If surgery can be pleasant, this was it! Dr. Z. is so very personable, kind, and attentive. The staff was extremely nurturing and reassuring before and during the first eye surgery that I was able to relax and look forward without anxiety to the same treatment for the second eye. I most definitely recommend The Eye Institute of Utah over any other place for one's eye care.

My LASIK procedure went great, I've enjoyed 3 years of clearer vision, and now I'm ready for a touchup and I'm told that I needed to keep track of all the eye exams over the past 3 years. If I don't have the records (which I only received in paper form), they charge me even more, just like the IRS. They say it's so they can see why my vision is changing, but my vision didn't change until last year. I paid over 3k and now they want even MORE money, 500/eye. So dumb. I wish they had made this clear before I paid them 3k, I would have gone elsewhere.

The staff is very professional and they have very good attention to cleanliness. Dr. Wolsey was excellent in finding the best course of action to solve my cataract issues tailored to my specific needs. I look forward to my surgery. Update: I’ve had my two cataract surgeries and they were a great success! The nurses were attentive and had great attitudes. The surgery was done before I knew it. No pain at all. Dr. Woolsey is great!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was. I needed cataract surgery & frankly I was nervous & anxious about the diagnosis. From the moment I walked through the door, everyone I dealt with from the receptionist to the nurses to the anesthesiologist to Dr. Chapman, who performed my surgery, were extremely professional & compassionate. They made my experience pleasant & wonderful. As for the end result: two words, home run! My vision is fantastic now. All I can say is I highly recommend the Eye Institute of Utah to anyone who needs eye surgery. I promise you will receive the best care possible. A! 5 enthusiastic stars! By the way, it didn’t hurt at all & I was anxious for nothing. Easy procedure, I promise. Believe me when I say I was sweating it. Thank you everyone who took care of me. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for all of you!!!

Dr. Passi did an amazing job!! The process of having cataract surgery was one I didn't look forward to, however, Dr. Passi, along with anesthesiologist Tatiana Warren, combined for a compassionate, successful surgery, which put all my concerns at ease, before during and after both procedures! My eyesight after both procedures far exceeds what my expectations were going in!! I would gladly recommend the Eye Institute of Utah! TEN STARS!!

Dr. Wolsey and her team have been exceptional. Everyone was attentive and cheerful as they prepared me for my surgery, seeing to my comfort and making me feel like I was the only patient scheduled for that day. I greatly appreciated the play by play comments and warnings as to what I was going to experience during the procedure. I was instructed before and after my surgery regarding every detail. The end result is 20-20 vision in my right eye and am looking forward to similar results in my left eye. Thank you for your skills and dedication to your craft.
