Being a mum of 3. I decided to get back into drawing, for some \me\ time!!. A hobby I loved when at school over 17 years ago. Having gone to a few random art classes here and there (and been disappointed) I decided to try out the drawing school program. And I can honestly say I never looked back. From the very first class I loved being part of \the drawing school\ community. And it is a community, you actually feel part of something very unique, like your own art bubble. Everything about the class, even the smell of pencil and rubber I loved. My drawing alone improved in heaps and bounds. But also the atmosphere while at class, the motivation, the drive, the connections of like minded people together, the sense of someone encouraging you to grow into your best \arty\ version of yourself. Seeing your progress, the commitment, the discipline, the drive, the warmth and of course the tea breaks!. The class and studio itself form an experience. If you have interest in drawing, I'd highly recommend trying out these classes, as they might click with you too! Jo

I'm currently doing a course one evening a week. Love it. Superb and expert tuition from Ciara and Sam - they are passionate and knowledgable, lovely atmosphere in the group, and real learning and improvement as a result of half a dozen classes. I will be signing up for a second round as soon as my first series ends.

I’ve just completed the full time course and have booked in for another year. Sam is a great, encouraging...and demanding teacher! I loved every minute of the course, the day flew and we all looked forward to the next. Anyone who likes to draw, or would like to draw, should sign up! Christian.

Learn or develop existing skills in this beautiful space with classical tutor Sam Horler. Sam is demanding, passionate & informed. Patience & stamina are required but well worth it to see what you can achieve. Highly recommend studio & all it’s courses.

Drawing Studio gave me back my drawing mojo. Great teachers, especially the director whose classes informs art history as well as the discipline of drawing in the tradition of the classical European atelier. A great experience - my drawing has improved significantly - and I made enduring friendships on the full time course. Highly rated.

Fantastic experience, the course did rich my knowledge about old art history and created a very strong interest in understanding on drawing. I loved the way the teacher explains everything with passion and sensibility and helped a lot the particular time with him and the draw. I did already Foundation part 1 and I just start the second part very exiting. Very high recomended.
