To show how highly we rate School Lane Fish and Chip shop I will explain briefly. We had been at our allotment for two hours and we were cold. Chips were proposed. Now, our allotment is in Coventry and this chip shop is in Kenilworth. The chips were up to their usual very high standard and it was well worth the trip to Kenilworth to get them! BTW. Our son has been getting his chips from here for thirty years.

Went here for the first time last week after having a good swim at the local pool. We arrived about 6.45pm and the queue was snaking around the shop and out of the door! Always a good sign. We waited about 15 minutes in total due to the demand for food, but that meant that everything was freshly cooked. My friends went for the \mini cod and chips\ - MINI??! We were so taken back by the size of the battered fish they had picked out that we thought they had mistaken the order! Amazing portion sizes at this place. I caught sight of the donner meat so I decided to go for that with chips and salad in a tray....again a HUGE portion and only 4.30! I really couldn't fault it, it was delicious. Can't wait to go back.
