If I could leave less than one star I would. We were \warned\ online about some greens having issues, and they would have reduced rates. No, what they have are more than \issues\. The first 6 greens are borderline unplayable (not that it gets much better after that). You cant make a putt on them because there isn't any grass to putt on. The course was completely water logged due to the amount of rain we have had recently (to be expected), but this place just must not drain because the tee boxes and fairways were straight mud. To take relief from mud/standing water you would have to move 20-30 yards at times. For 55, you would have expected a better course. 55 for a round here is a joke. I hope this place takes a page out of Skybrook's book and actually tries to get their act together. Until they get it together, go play Charlotte National or soem other course in the area.

Great value for the money. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were many high school students on the course, but they didn’t cause any problems. The course is narrow and runs through the middle of a residential neighborhood. Carts are gasoline powered. Lunch was simple, but not bad.

My first time playing since they finished their new greens in Sept. Was invited by a friend. Perhaps he was warned about the course conditions but nothing was said at the pro shop when I checked in. Was charged full price for an under 60 golfer, with no price break for the course condition. They said 4, 12, 14, 16 were cart path only. EVERY Par 4 & 5 should have been! The fairways were a mud fest and torn up by golfers driving all over them. The greens were shaggy, uncut and uneven. Trying to putt was hopeless. I typically like this course but I felt like I got ripped off big time yesterday.

Played here yesterday. I figured this course would be up to par to other courses in Charlotte since they closed down for maintenance and replacing the greens over the summer. Boy was I wrong. Obviously, they didn't give enough time for the greens to come in. They were primarily painted sand. Worst in Charlotte. Disappointing. Plus, there was no indication of any other improvements. In addition, they still haven't figured out they need to get rid of A LOT of trees. There's too much shade. These turf grasses will not grow well, or at all, in heavily shaded areas. There are much better alternatives in the area for the same or less money. Spend your money elsewhere for now and have an enjoyable round.

Disappointed with the GM; however, other staff members were able to make me feel more relaxed. Course track is great for all skill levels, but there is work to be done to make it world class which it has potential to be.
