The Doctors themselves so far have been pretty alright, my most recent doc being lovely and helping me out greatly, however reception is just terrible, I hate being negative but its hard not to be upset after waiting in the queue for 10 solid minutes only to be hung up on!! Like I'm serious is that even allowed?? I was apparently also \caller number 1 in the queue\ at the time of writing, according to the little automated voice so I just don't understand what even happened.

I find the receptionists very helpful polite and friendly I have been with applewood for 5years and have always found them very professional I have recently had poor health and they have been brilliant in getting me appointments and medication and show concern of my welfare I recommend this surgery to anyone who is looking for a good doctors to be with.

Horrible receptionists(except one) . They are so rude! I recommend picking another doctors. The also changed my prescription WITHOUT telling me about it. Absolutely stupid. Edit for update

Despite some very negative posts, my recent experience has been very positive and I really could not fault the staff (specifically Zoe, who would be the ideal role model for a Doctors Receptionist !!). Keep up the good work.

Useless, make up the rules as they go along. There is one receptionist who is ok, but if you get the other one it's pointless wasting your time, all she wants to do is get you off the phone without doing anything, and when it's taken over 30 minutes to get through it's very annoying. We are changing, not putting up with it any longer.
