I went there for covid vaccination. Treated very decently. Nursing madam also so polite. I am satisfied. But our people are not cooperating with them in maintaining the neatness and using the mobile.

This traditional Medical College Hospital is one of the monumental identities of Thanjavur.. Now the infra structures have been upgraded.. New 300 bed ward and the new annexe are the buildings constructed with latest facilities and are looking like a high class private hospital.. The annexe building is called as"MODI" building.. Vaccination are being done here..

It's one of the old Medical College Hospitals that serves a huge population of central and eastern part of Tamil Nadu. Despite the Government has been conscious to improve the facilities' efficiency with infrastructural development and upgraded diagnostic equipments , the burgeoning number of patients would make it tough for the government to cope with the requirements. It's high time for the affluent to take the call for coming forward to assume the responsibility to help financially in abundance to enable the government to seve the ever growing needy, the poor, downtrodden and underprivileged who avail this health service mostly. A word of appreciation and gratitude for the Doctors serving here needs to be recorded who serve with very minimum facilities compared to their peers in Corporate Hospitals.

Took my neighbour for covid vaccine shot to the new building at the 2nd gate, the place was unbelievably clean, the arrangements for the vaccination spectacular, very courteous staff, helpful. Was taken aback as I had always thought govt hospitals to be unclean and the staff rude
