When I was asked to review Sydney TMS , I felt bad I hadn't thought of doing it earlier. I remember all the questions and uncertainly I had when I was looking into TMS and it seems like a life time away now. When you are depressed it is so hard to make a decision and everything seems so helpless. After years of medications and therapy, it is hard to believe siting on a chair and letting a magnet " tune up" your brain is going to work. As the host of Studio 10 said , it sounded like quackery. But I am living proof that this stuff works and the whole team Dr Pace has working for him are super relaxed and friendly. I hope this helps someone out there.
When I asked my Psychiatrist about TMS, she wasn't discouraging, but she told me that she had not had any other patients try it so couldn't really recommend it. I am gald to say I too had a very goodresult. I am still on my bipolar medication but feel so much better. After discussing with my psychiatrist, I have decided to continue maintenance treatment. the staff and " tigger" at Sydney TMS are excellent.
A friend recommended I try TMS becasue she got a lot better wit it. I talked to Marjorie over many weeks and she was soo patient with me as I had to keep changing me appointment times. When I did meet Dr Pace and Tiffany on my first day i was pretty nervous but once I actually talked to them and tried the treatment , it was a lot better than I expected. During the treatment I kept thinkin g it wasnt going to work for me and the nurses kept encouraging me and sure enough it has been amazing. I have not felt this good for years. I think anyone who has been depressed for a long time needs to try TMS. thank you for all your help, I feel I have got my life back.
