Good walk and picnic area. The walk around the outer circuit is around 1.1 mile. Good views of green grassy meadows and yellow rapeseed fields. The only downside is filthy toilets beware of using them. It is good spot to spend lazy afternoons on a sunny day.

Located on part the Ridegeway Barbary Castle is an Ancient Iron Age Hill Fort set in 12 Acres. Wonderful walking. Great for picnics and Kite flying. You can walk for miles in all directions. Good parking, toilet facilities in car park.

Definitely go and check out. Absolutely beautiful just go careful with selecting correct route as it has a few different ways and can end up taking you not to the car park.

This is a great place to walk, take the kids to let off steam as well as openly talking about our history. Recommend to anyone as a beautiful spot for picnics....free parking too
