My 5 year old spent time at a swim school with a 4/1 ratio. The approximately 7 minutes he spent learning during the half hour lesson was not enough time to actually learn how to swim. My son has made tremendous progress under the personalized attention he gets from coach Mike. I’m very glad I made the switch!

My son took private lessons with Coach Mike and from being barely being able to swim a whole lap he is now a confident swimmer in three different strokes and most importantly he is proud and happy to be swimming! He looks forward to lessons with Coach Mike and I am always in awe of the dedication and technique he uses to teach skills.

Mike Evans is an excellent teacher . My grandson,age 12, was extremely nervous about learning to swim . We had tried group lessons but those were not successful . From the first meting , Mike’s methods were to encourage him as well as to teach him to swim . The first focus was to help him be able to not drown and to be comfortable in the water . He always ended the lesson with a positive accomplishment . During one lesson he realized The teaching method was not effective so he changed the method and the focus immediately . Now my grandson stated that “ swimming is fun and an important skill “.
