Probably the best kept track in the Calabash, Sunset and Ocean Isle area. Nice staff and beautiful club house.

This is a nice course. Disappointed I didn't see any gators. The sand traps are tough. They are filled with fine soft sand. Nices views. The seats on the golf carts are comfortable. Live the black and purple seats. Drinks and food are expensive. I do recommend this course.

Our group of 54 played Thistle 9/11/2019 and had the greatest experience in our 30 years of golf vacations in the Myrtle Beach area when we played Thistle. It's a great course, but it was the people, the service, and hospitality that made it so unforgetable. Unfortunately the management has changed and those people are gone, and along with it the hospitality. To many other options to tolerate the attitude. Won't be back.

Played mackay/Cameron course was saturated but not overly long either. Only complaints were no GPS on the cart and the mosquitoes were horrible. Take some bug spray.

Played Cameron and Mackay and this place is just simply spectacular. Greens were great and putted true, fairways were awesome and the bunker sand was fantastic. Truly a must play in the area, only disappointment was no GPS on cart and not quite enough hole info for first time players of the course.
