A big-big museum with many locomotives and coaches, but the most of it realy bad condition. There are a many steamlocomotives from the Monarchy but they are on the open area and they are a realy bad condition. It is soo sad. But the staff is very-very helpfull and kind!

We've been here twice; once on a normal workday, when it was great to see without the crowds, and once on a \Dampfbetriebstag\ - when there is a lot more open. On certain days of the year (check their website), there is a steam engine running and the Big Vehicles in the Garden & the Garden model train are running. It's definitely worth it to check this location out!

A railway enthusiasts paradise. A genuine former steam shed pretty much in original condition with a fascinating collection of steam and electric locos, and acres of outside exhibits - some very much worse for wear but great to explore. Hopefully some day they can also be restored.

Took the kids here and all they could talk about was how cool of a place it was. Large yard with tons of trains. We are looking to go back in the summer time when there is a lot more to do. The kids area seems like a great place to enjoy an afternoon.

You can see and feel that there are enthusiasts working on preserving icons, from steam trains to more recent ones. Besides the big workshop, the whole original rail system is free for exploring parked rare trains and wagons which are either restored or waiting for restoration.
