We have been registered with this practice since 1989. The staff have been wonderful.. Doctors.. Practice nurses.. District nurses and receptionists. They have went above and beyond for us.. Especially when my husband was at his end stages of life... I feel total respect for all that were involved and I will never forget it. Certainly would have struggled without their support

I really don't get the negative comments on our local medical group. They are highly professional people who I have dealt with for over 20 years. Not once have I found them anything other than pleasant and helpful. I doubt those who have made negative comments have actually been treated disrespectfully, rather, it's one or two people who didn't get their own way and are behaving like children.

Only one GP in this surgery has ever been any real help to me (and this particular GP was amazing and I can't fault them - I provided feedback at the time saying as much). However overall, this surgery is just... not great. The reception staff are rude, unhelpful, constantly interrupt and are disrespectful. In the past when I tried to raise my concerns after a bad experience, I was told to 'find a doctor that I have a better rapport with'. From what I could tell there is no official complaints process in place, and any concerns I tried to raise were promptly dismissed. The place is totally unorganised and the manner in which the reception staff speak to patients is just unprofessional and often unacceptable. I'm only still registered with them because I currently can't find another GP surgery taking on new patients.

Beyond shocked by how this medical centre is run. Can not believe that you have to make an e-consultation online and can’t phone to book an appointment anymore. Had to actually go in and request an emergency appointment and they couldn’t even give me one as i had to do it online. They then phoned me and told me to go to the pharmacy where i had to pay for my prescription which is ridiculous... This is why we have the NHS so we don’t have to pay for prescriptions. No one in the medical centre seem to know what they’re doing and all come across as useless, rude and unfriendly. This experience has put me off going to the doctors ever again!!
