It was day I would dread for a long time... Back to school day in a entirely new school. So I thought it would be all good and jolly everyone would like me. Though I was completely wrong, I wasn't ready for what was ahead of me. So I got up brushed my teeth , took a shower... then.... ate BREAKFAST. That's when I noticed I was going to be late so I got my piece of toast and ran to school. Once I got there I noticed something was wrong with the place. It had this strange aura it felt like... a evil aura. Still though I ignored it and went to the door to open it, that's when I noticed there was no one there at all. It was silent. had I come to school on a day of no school or something? Still my house was 30 minute walk away and I didn't want to do that again. So I went inside the school, the door closed behind me. That's when I knew something was wrong, I wasn't alone. I started walking at first, but for some reason I felt the need to run. I ran and ran as fast as I can eventually leading to a door. It was a door with no window so I ran inside to hide. The lights were off for some reason and I couldn't turn the lights on. I heard something open the door and it was a man taking something from the drawer. He then fell asleep, this was my chance. I ran out from under the desk jumping out the window and not looking back. I could here the yells of the man getting fainter and fainter. I finally had gotten home and now I'm here writing this to warn you of this school. So please warn the others...

A horrible school, while they invest a lot, their approach to educating is horrid. I know many who were most certainly caused mental illness by the structure and style of this school. *Update* My time at the school has finished and i maintain my opinion. In the time since we've left high school, I've seen myself and my friends slowly begin to recover, with our mental health recovering and confidence growing. Haywood Academy is a horrid school with a disgusting approach to education. However, teaching staff are not to blame! Most staff are helpful, polite and understanding (how ever some of cause, aren't). The behavior team are fantastic. It's mostly down the school rules and the ' Head Of School ' (Essentially headteacher) and by extension of cause, the board. The school rules suppress personality including personal expression of your outfitting (such as closely moderating jewelry and hair dye ). They also disrupted basics of human life, such as refusing to allow you to use the facilities \during a lesson\ then leaving the doors of the facilities locked during break times The school has one overworked student councillor who tries desperately to keep up with her timetable but in reality, there needs to be a team and she's clearly just there to tick the box, not because the school cares. This school actually hurts people. Both they're mental and physical health. This school must face serious change and restructuring to fix it's self.. Or, it should be shut down, before some one is harmed beyond repair... And this is a real risk.

Structured enviroment for a good education , smart uniform ,with strict policy. All students look smart, some really nice teachers here, imparticular Miss Kaluza, who gos the extra mile to keep in touch and treats me and my daughter with interest and care with great communication. She is a credit to the school. Miss Hammond
