Really good selection of craft materials. Paint, wood, metal. Some models and model train accessories. Not too expensive. However the staff has zero interest in their customers.

This review only deals with their online store. Great selection and super attentive customer service.

Small but pretty complete store for any DIY craft/hobby project without getting too pricey. They've got some wonderfully random stuff in terms of material, so it's great just browsing and seeing what you could use for that weird project you've always wanted to do. Staff is friendly too.

Material Butiken is a well-stocked shop with lots tools and supplies, but some of the people that work there are downright unpleasant and shouldn't be working in customer service. Usually I get completely ignored when I'm in there, which is fine, but when I do occasionally ask for help or advice on something, I feel like most people are just trying to get rid of me as quickly as humanly possible. It's a hobby shop. I should be happy walking out of there but, honestly, most times I feel worse leaving than when I walked in! Today, when I politely asked one lady for help, she snapped \I'm busy!\ and stormed off into one of the back rooms for employees. I mean, was it something I said? I try to be polite and tolerant (everybody has bad days--I get it) but this is getting ridiculous. Honestly, I'd take my business elsewhere but there just aren't good options nearby. To be fair: Another employee was very nice and helped me out (maybe she overheard this first awkward exchange). And there was another time I talked to a guy on the phone who was extraordinarily helpful. I ended up buying a quite expensive Proxxon product as a result of that chat. I don't enjoy writing critical reviews. I'm writing this because I want this shop to be better.

Store takes no responsibility for products. Bought three expensive pens and they bled through the paper. No problem because the store has a 30 day return policy - well, not really. I was told upon returning them that these pens need special paper so as no to bleed through. But, I was not given that information when buying them. Store clerk, \it isn't our responsibility to inform you\. I wanted to exchange them but the pens had to be sealed to be able to return them. Problem, the pens were not sealed when I bought them. Store attitude, it isn't our problem.

A lot of of cafting materials , suplies and equipment that you won't find in many retail stores. My one gripe is that the counter is awkwardly positioned in front of the entrance/exit wich can cause a jam if more then 3 people are trying to pay a the same time.

Fun and quirky shop for the amateur artist.
