I just love all of the Red Mesa restaurants. Today was extra special. We do not go out much in the time of Covid...but we felt incredibly safe here today. Everyone was wearing masks and it is so easy to social distance. The staff was especially friendly and, as always, the food was outstanding. I had the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the slaw topping added a fresh note of texture.
Loved this spot. The person taking our order had a bright and welcoming personality. We had the shrimp tacos, tuna tacos, and a shrimp burrito. I would order any of those 3 again, but the shrimp tacos were the best. A lot of mexican inspired places have blah beans & rice. These had great flavor and texture. We will definitely be back.
I frequent. Tortillas are the best in town. Breakfast burritos are big and tastey. Everything is quality and worth trying. Atmosphere is open outdoor seating with lots of space.
Red Mesa Mercado is one of my favorite places to eat in St Pete. I don’t think I’ve had anything I didn’t love from here. Breakfast? On point. Avocado toast, is my favorite but other options are amazing too. Cafe con leche... gives me life! Lunch/Dinner? The Chile Relleno burrito is the cheesiest most delicious piece of heaven, I get it with the Pork Verde Taquito’s, taco salad, dip trio, sangria, and can’t forget to mention the featured menu items that change frequently enough to keep it interesting. They also serve a perfect variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non. I also love the atmosphere; walk up ordering, dining outside with the option to eat inside, dog and kid friendly. If you’re in downtown St Pete or nearby you should check this place out! You won’t be disappointed ️
