I had an awesome experience taking the Technical Canyoneering Course from Adventure Plus. I have been rappelling for years with friends and family and was a bit hesitant to take a "beginner course". I was so pleasantly surprised! After spending the weekend with TJ, I discovered that I hadn't even begun to scratch the surface of what extremely useful knots, bends, hitches, rigging and anchors were available to me. I feel so much more confident and safe now while taking friends and family out canyoneering. I'm looking forward to taking the next 3 courses!

Adventure Plus is a great small business. I am committed to purchasing my climbing and canyoneering gear here. TJ is a great instructor. He is very personable but also professional. I enjoyed his instruction and the majority of the class was hands on and in the "field". This makes it easier for the tasks to be retained. I recommend any of TJs ACE courses. I would however recommend that if you plan on taking any course do some web searches on knots and research some of the canyoneering websites out there. You will have a better time at the course because your brain wont be mush from the input overload.

TJ is a fantastic instructor. He was able to determine my level of prior experience and adjust the class according. This class was super informative. TJ is patient and very clear with his instruction. The equipment used was top notch. Our group had a great time hearing all of the experiences that TJ has had over the years! Seriously so much fun!
