Ordered via Garden Site in July, informed delay past quoted in stock/90 days. Told 1st delivery on 3rd Dec. took time off and had joiner booked. Forgot to put on wagon! Delivery by Shire on 10th Dec told 1st drop, took time off, joiner booked - delivery times kept going out to find out they had loaded the vehicle incorrectly and would be late afternoon. 1 driver, curtain-sider, no pallet loader or tail lift. Had to take off piece by piece! Part way through refused load due to damage and the untreated wood we were taking off was soaking wet (as the driver said you couldn't light a fire with it), they then requested if we could take it off and leave on our drive for them to collect at a later date, again refused for multiple reasons. 2 weeks later after request of refund and compensation, told we would have to wait until it was proved it was back at the warehouse!! Yes we ordered through Garden Site - but both companies have been shocking on the customer service front - basically couldn't care less as they know it's supply and demand, and have not tried to amicably resolve or engage. Merry Christmas, we are 1100 out of pocket at the moment. Reported to Trading Standards and HSE.

Very unhelpful staff on the phone when trying to sort an issue (which they had caused) Tried to blame us for not phoning them to chase when their emails ask not to phone if possible due to Covid. Simply couldn't care less...

Bought the Shire Barclay Summer House, final product is just about acceptable but not for the price. Aside from that: - 2 month waiting for shed only to be told the day before delivery that it would be another 2 months for delivery - On new delivery day inform the product wasn't coming and would arrive a day later. - Door handle provided was missing the locking mechanism, new mechanism sent in the post, when I finally got round to fitting it turns out it was too big for the type of door and doesn't fit properly - Roof central joist was missing, integral part of the structure - Other small wood items missing - Roof was warped so required some serious leverage to reshape and fit onto shed - Screws provided were too short to provide decent structure (used our own in the end) - Doors had been closed to soon after treatment so when I went to open them for the first time they were stuck and damaged the wood frame when opened. Shi*e sheds indeed

Have one of their summer houses that we bought 10 years ago and is still as beautiful now. Just looking for a second wooden building for the garden now. Xx

Very poor. The order was completely wrong. Key things like the central roof joist were missing! Shire offered to replace, but this would have meant leaving the summer house roofless until the parts came. So we had to source wood from elsewhere. Shire offered a modest rebate, but it didn't cover our time and costs. Shire said the onus was on me to check parts before I booked my joiner. No Shire - the onus is on you to check what you send before you load it on to a lorry. Blaming your customers for your failings is not on. Wish I'd read this comment section before purchasing - I'd have given them a miss.
