Excellent day out! Plenty of birds. Grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed it.

An easily overlooked gem of a park. An excellent place to jog or walk. Plenty of alternative routes to keep visits interesting. The large lake tucked in one corner is rapidly maturing and beginning to attract an ever widening variety of bird life. To sit on the viewing platforms, to ponder, to relax and just watch the birds is ......need I say more.

Very muddy as expected, but lots of lovely bird life. Kids had a great time just walking about and climbing on old tree trunks. -1 star because of some vandalism that remains unfixed.

A large park with a countryside vibe to it. It has a large lake and some streams running through it here and there. Paths along the designated cycle route nice and wide to cycle. Others not on the cycle route not so wide. It can get very muddy during Winter, so bring your wellies! I’ve never seen the information centre or the Pitch & Putt open, so I’d like to see that open. Excellent to sit next to the stream to relax. You can hear the variety of birds tweeting and the occasional rumble of a tram. I would 5 stars, but there is a bit of litter such as cans and plastic bags towards the sides of the paths, ditches and bushes. Overall, a great park.

Don't forget your boots. Nice open space. On a rainy day the path gets really mudy. It would be really nice place for long walks during summer and dry season.
