Due to the current covid restrictions I like to give places a bit of slack and appreciate that things will be different from normal. We stood for an interminable time to be invited in. Were shown to a table and our waitress appeared and asked for our drink order...we requested 2 refillable Pepsi Max and also placed our food order. After a very long wait I asked where our drinks were as did the group behind us. These then appeared. Our starter arrived sometime later. We then waited another 20 minutes for our main course. I had the Lamb Sunday roast which was not hot and was very chewy. I requested mint sauce which, after a reminder, appeared as I was half way through my meal...I would have liked some pepper but couldn't wait for it. There is a tag saying limitless Yorkshire puddings and potatoes- great if you can actually find anyone to request them. A jug of gravy wouldn't have gone amiss - at least this would have warmed the food up! I appreciate that these are challenging times but feel Beefeater need to allow for this and employ more staff or have a better serving system. Their food is not cheap and the least you should expect is that it is hot!! Will not be in a hurry to return.

Was at Priory Marina 7th through to 10th Oct. Wednesday's steak was fine,no complaints and Yes!,Samuel has one hell of a sense of humour,thus the marmalade. Desserts were to die for,Boy!,is that Sundae cold Friday's Trio of Fish was bloody lovely,my compliments to the Chef.The Salmon was nicely cooked,the Sea Bass was while the Hake was a little on the small side but hey ho!. 5 star Table Service from Steph We had the \All You Can Eat\ Breakfast on 3 mornings and it IS a case of \you order what you want from the menu\ Table Service from Bethan faultless. COVID Secure measures are in place,although some customers prefer to ignore things like arrows on the floor and hand sanitiser. Could do with a bell outside to let staff know you're outside waiting. As for the toilets,they're fine,no issues at all.

Excellent service. Good food and wonderful ambiance. Nice music, scenic, spacious and comfortably safe, clean and modren. Very courteous staff, especially Jacob who was working our table. Well done guys! And keep it up... Must add, it is an excellent pick from Ruth. One of its kind.

Really great service. I went there for a couple of hours in the morning while my car was being fixed locally and during Covid. They were so attentive and pleasant, let me work from my laptop in there, offered to let me plug in if I needed, well done. It's right near a lake and small marina so if you fancy a quick walk it would be nice as well.
