They changed our house from septic to sewer, the pipes inside the house lasted less than a year before coming apart. After we were told they would fix anything wrong with them, we repeatedly called to try to get it fixed. We were continually told they would get back to us, and never did. They lied to us and did a poor job.

An absolutely dreadful experience!!! After Smith screwed up paving the road in front of my house (every time it rains, there is a massive 40ft puddle that takes days to go away) they were supposed to redo the driveway. They filled in the clean out access so they had to comeback and rip up some of the driveway to fix the problem. They were paid to redo the rest of the driveway but forgot. So they had to be called and reminded to do the job. When they finally showed up to do the job, they drove through the back part of the yard and caved in a part of a concrete slab. They also dumped some of the mix in the yard, so now i have concrete in the yard. After the snow melted, I noticed that they driveway surface completely chipped off. No joke, the driveway looked like it was gravel. They were informed of this and they said they were \too busy\ to fix the problem. So after another summer and winter, they came back and replaced the driveway. They also cut out the caved in portion of the concrete that they destroyed over a year previously, instead of just replacing the entire section. It looks like a cobbled mess. If you want a miserable experience, give Smith a call.
