This is a place you have to go to been there twice. It is in the middle of the forest by a lake. There is a very nice view to the lake where you also can rent a canoe or you can hike in the forest on trails. Just enjoy

We (me and 5 friends) have spent 5 days at the Danhostel Skanderborg in October 2018 and had a great time. Renting the nice and spacious bungalows which are located just about 100 meters from the lake was the perfect accommodation to spend a great fishing holiday there. I can definitely recommend the Danhostel Skanderborg for any kind of outdoor activity, especially for fishing. Really great accommodation which is situated at a top lake for fishing enthusiasts.

So relaxing!!!!!!! If you're in need of a city break in nature this is the perfect place. It's like I'm back to middle school science camp - just a bit fancier with warm showers and a working kitchen. You can walk around the lake and enjoy the fresh air!

Nice hostel at the lake side. Stayed in a family room with bunk bed and a dubble-bed. Own toilet and shower. 12 sq. Meters is not much for a family of 4
