Knowledgeable and courteous staff. They take the time to answer your questions, not rushing you out the door. You are treated with respect. I also like the fact they have kept their law office in an older house and have maintained the building to be an asset to the downtown core. A large fancy building doesn't always mean it's better, which is truly the case here. Great firm who work hard for each individual who walk through their door.

Regarding Albert E. Smelko Lawyer Be aware of this office's malpractice. His office took advantage of a rather sensitive situation. Last year my Mom passed away and we ended up with a significant bill, even though I contacted his office within the 1st month and subsequently to give me a bill. The answer always was that an invoice would be issued, after about 8 month I received an invoice that included charges that I never asked for. Knowing that this was a Law Firm I didn't want to spent my time to argue these charges because at the end I most likely would have ended up with more fees. This is a warning to be precocious of dealing with this firm, they will try to squeeze every last penny from you; that's how I felt.
