Great experience! I was looking for an aquarium for my family for Valentines Day. Helped me find the right fish aquarium and everything needed to get set up. Staff was fantastic - very helpful and great to work with. My two little girls are going to love watching the fish swim around. Two thumbs up Sierra Aquatics, Thank you!
Staff are fantastic. Super friendly and patient. My family wanted to hold ALL the pets and nearly did that. If ferrets were legal in California we would of purchased one on the spot. Great store and great selection of supplies and pets.
I don't know why this place gets bad reviews. Every time I go there(and i go there bi-weekly) the staff is always extremely friendly, and helpful. The store has an amazing assortment of snakes and other exotic animals. In the back of the store(outside) during the warm months they have even more animals. A few months ago they had something from the kangaroo family, and an amazing adult orange iguana. They support military and vets as well with a 10% discount.
This place was east to find. They also have great selection of exotic pets. Three months ago, I bought a baby hedgehog from the store, and the instruction on how to care for hedgehogs were straightforward. The employees also helped out to select the right diet for my hedgehog. Thanks for doing business with y'all.
Large selection of fish, reptiles and critters. Everything has its own room. Reptile room, awesome fish room and a separate turtle area with a beautiful tortoise. The employees are very knowledgeable but seem very busy and are hard to conversate with about advise on purchases, do your research before u go here so you just know what u want. There prices are a little high but it's expected from a store that's not a massive chain. All in all its probably the coolest place around for fish, reptiles and amphibians.
This is the Most honest review on this store, The customer service could be better but where they lack they also excel at a few things, When I went into the store I was hoping to find a pair of red terrors , the store ordered me a pair and not only that they were next to dirt cheap, they also ordered them as fry (as requested) so I can have these two fish for 4 years , the wait for the fish was about a week but it was worth the wait
Very cool pet store. The have the best selection of exotic pets and fish in Reno. They are also one of the only places where you can get live pinky mice. Recommend.
