My fiancé and I had our first date here a couple years ago. It’s a special spot for us and each time we return it never disappoints. The service is impeccable, as are food and drinks. We’ve never tried a dish or cocktail we did not enjoy. Cannot recommend Sidebar enough to those considering it.

Hands down, my favorite restaurant in the city! Not only is the owner one of most talented chefs in the city, but he's also one of the sweetest people you could know. His warmth and friendliness extends to the staff and so every time you go there, you feel like you're just hanging out with friends. And then there's the food. So delicious sometimes it leaves me speechless. The cuisine is imaginative, full of flavour, and entirely satisfying. My particular favorites include the duck and the lamb and the short ribs. And you absolutely must begin with the cilantro hummus. It is out of this world crazy delicious! The ceviche is an absolute work of art and even something as simple as potatoes gets elevated and treated as king of the plate. My birthday choice of dessert is always tres leches! So creamy, so smooth, so insanely good! The cocktails are world-class and the wine selection deep. If you haven't been to Sidebar, you are truly missing out. I go there almost every year for my birthday and this year was no exception. And I'm pretty sure that I'll be there next year as well. See you there?

The food was amazing. They say it's tapas but the servings were quite generous and shareable. The flan is divine! And our server Benjamin was an absolute treat! 11/10

The food is incredible fusion of South America and American!! ️️️Love this place! Service is impeccable! Drinks are strong and well balanced! I recommend the four step and old fashioned! The atmosphere is upbeat and the wait staff are very friendly. Prices specially during happy hour are the BEST In Town for the quality!! They have a party room that is fabulous for weddings and special occasions!! Best kept secret downtown!

Food was DELICIOUS! On the expensive side since they’re tapas so we ended up getting 6 plates for 2 people... not sure if we’re just fatties but I have no regrets. Great date night spot. Would highly recommend the octopus, scallops, duck, lobster ravioli, plantains.
