I chose for Shining Spiral as the day care for my 1.5 year old. The decision was done after visiting each and every day care possible. Shining Spiral is quite distant to my workplace, but I chose the best for my kid over my convenience. No screen time for my toddler, diaper free movement and such a wonderful staff.. What else would a moher want? Free play, open areas to explore and all natural toys for my child made me go for shining spiral. It has been 7 months now, and I am proud of my decision.

We visited several preschools and kindergartens, for my toddler. I wasn't sure if I would find a place I was happy to send my two year old to...or would I have to set for something lesser than my expectations. Coming upon Shining Spiral brought us light at the end of the tunnel. It was not an easy decision - since this school was new and so was Waldorf for us. Not only does the school offer ample open space space close to the nature, but is driven by Waldorf pedagogy which offers the right environment for a child's emotional well being and nourishment in their foundational years. And hence we zeroed down on this kindergarten for our toddler. I am very satisfied as a parent to have chanced upon Shining Spiral and Waldorf both.Every day when I drop my little one and walk back to my car, am relieved and happy to have a found a place where he is allowed to be himself- whether it is getting dirty in the mud, splashing water all over himself or just stacking up wooden blocks the way he would like to. I feel this school is a privilege in today's times as it is so contrasting to traditional schools which are all about air conditioned buildings(without open playgrounds) with fancy infrastructures and gadget driven mediums for teaching.

Its a second home for my child and only place where I am double sure that he will have the nourishment, learning , space to grow not only educational Knowledge but life skills. My child look forward to his day in school and there are days when he refuses to come back home. So much positivity and skills he has learned which is impossible we can find in this era anywhere else. As a parent we both are totally confident that our child is receiving the age appropriate learning and environment. One of the best part in routine is Meenakshi when bidding goodbye to kids shares with parents highlights of our child activity and food intake. Every single time ! I express my gratitude towards Meenakshi and the team for their love and care ! Wish this spreads to all the kids ! A happy satisfied parent
