Park not maintained.. and authorities should work on connectivity with river.. their is a point from where we can access the river.. one boat is available.. they charge approx 100 rs. for a round.

Not as good as it used to be. The garden area is maintained just enough. But the river hasn't been cleaned from a long time. It's so filthy that you won't like going for a boat ride.

Shaheed Smarak is a war monument located on the banks of the River Gomti in Lucknow. It was built as a tribute to those soldiers who lost their lives in the freedom struggle of India. It is a tall monolithic structure which stands proudly against the lush gardens. There is a pillar inside the monument complex which has the names of freedom fighters engraved on it. It is a beautiful place beside Gomti River. One of the must visit monuments in Lucknow.
