Lovely place if you can actually get it! Have tried on two different occasions to hire the hall for kids parties but have never heard back from them despite emailing and leaving voicemail messages. A shame because it is actually a good sized hall for parties.

Hall doubled-booked us, they only realised the day before and tried to blame me for not filling out a form they'd never told me existed! Absolutely awful, thank goodness we had a back up venue to use or we'd have had to cancel the whole event. The man was so rude and condescending on the phone, even asked me if it was my first time planning an event! I explained I'd worked for an events company for many years and what our fool-proof system was when we took bookings for our own venue - at that point his tone changed completely from condescending to defensive, and he said that they weren't professionals and couldn't be expected to not make mistakes like double-booking or forgetting to ask a client to fill out a booking form! Steer well clear! Especially if you're wanting to book for an important event; unless you want your wedding reception venue to double-book and cancel on you the day before your wedding.

Defacto Dentists

Attended an art class at the weekend and was totally embarrassed by operators of this hall. Extremely rude and totally disorganised. This was just a simple art class, but if it was a birthday celebration or such like, it would have been completely ruined. Avoid at all costs!

I loved the toddler group there on Monday. Very gentle and all mummies are lovely.
