Came for a shut down at the pulp mill in Port Mellon. The mill set up accommodations as with Covid the camp could only take a small percentage of people. In all fairness the place is under renovations but there was very limited house keeping. Was here for 16 days had my towels replaced once. Never had my bedding changed. Only given 2 small soaps the entire time. The rug was dirty with tree needles from them quickly setting the room up, never vacuumed the room even after the replacing of towels. No coffee machine, took days to get a microwave and that was absolutely filthy ,the bar fridge didn’t work well and had no freezer left in it. My last night here the shower made all kinds of noise and after 2 to 3 minutes the rust water cleared up (hadn’t done this before). When I was out of the shower there was a knock at the door a key opened it slightly and a woman said hello and quickly shut it. 15 or so seconds after finishing changing I opened it and no one was about, no ware(almost like they ran away). VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Hope they get it together when the Reno’s are done and get some proper management!

Stunning view at the ocean inlet, mountains and wild life right from your bed. You can watch little sea planes landing and taking off, boats go by, eagles flying around and storks chilling by the water. The actual room we had was pretty spacious and felt more like a hotel room than your typical B&B. Fireplace, hot tub, balcony, little private beach with lounge chairs are a nice touch.
