I love it here for so many reasons. The outdoor space is really lush and serene and makes coming home feel really nice. The people who work here care about the community and the people who live here are warm and welcoming. This is Seattle. The Seattle freeze is a REAL thing and it has not been present for the move in at all. Neighbors have smiled and welcomed me, which sounds like a small little piece but making eye contact is not an experience you get everywhere. The apartment is well maintained and they are prompt If you need help. 6/5 stars

Honestly, I don't really have much but great things to say about the Uwajimaya Village Apartments. Today is my move-out day, and it truly makes me sad. The management and staff were always very kind. Many of them knew me by name and even unit number. They had events all the time to get the tenants together, and the leasing office was clean, with a \quiet room\ full of board games and a popcorn machine and coffee. There's a Luxer locker system for packages, so you don't need to wait for the leasing office to be open to pick up packages. The koi pond is beautiful and a great place to hang out on a warmer day. They bring the grills out in the summer. I lived in a carpeted studio that had more than enough space for me. There was a nice little Juliet balcony -- it didn't provide much space to stand outside, but having double doors I could open meant I never needed AC; I could open the front door and the double doors and it was great. The proximity to downtown and having the Link right outside was convenient. The amount of good authentic Asian food was also convenient. And, or course, living on top of a Japanese grocery store was very convenient. If I could, I'd stay here. My rent didn't even jack up that high if I'd renewed my lease. Unfortunately, I'm leaving Seattle for a while, and had to give it up. When I come back, I'll be seeing if they have any openings here.

Have been staying here for about an year and have no complains so far. Leasing office is very friendly and pretty accomodating with requets, shout out to Anna. All my service requets were met promptly and with due diligence, thanks Cody! Proximity to so many awesome food place doesn't hurt. This area is also heavily serviced by public transport.

I recently moved to Uwajimaya Village Apartments. It was during the height of the Pandemic, and the entire management staff was helpful during that stressful situation. The building is COVID-19 ready. The residents are kind and respectful. I have a studio apartment, and it is very, very spacious, especially comparing to other studio apartments of similar price in the downtown area. I love natural light and the windows provide sufficient light throughout the day. The building is quiet during the night, which makes me feel safe. I work from home so peace and quiet during the day are a must. Although there are renovations going on in the grocery store on the ground floor, the noise is minimal and doesn't last all day. Lately, I have not heard any construction going on. I love how Anna and everyone in the management office keeps residents informed about events happening around the apartment complex and in the neighborhood. Being new to Seattle, I find this information very useful and very much appreciated. The maintenance team is very responsive, friendly, and forever helpful. I want to send a \special shot out \to CODY! He rocks! He is the most-friendliest staff member there, and that is a great feat because everyone at Uwajimaya Village is very friendly. I love living here. I chose this apartment community to be my next home because of the wonderful views on Google and Yelp. I must say that all of my expectations were met.

Recently had to move out due to the current event craziness, otherwise we never would've left. Very friendly and helpful staff, emails and service requests were always handled in a timely manner. Shout out to Julie, Anna, and Cody, who do a fantastic job.
