Johnny and Annette are clearly passionate about diving and want to share the scuba experience with people. They and their instructors are knowledgeable, professional, and patient with their students. They work to try to fit everyone's needs and make you feel comfortable. I absolutely enjoyed my certification classes with them! I have been back in the shop many times since then and am treated like I am family. I have recommended Scuba Commander to friends and will continue to do so! If you are curious about scuba, GO SEE THEM!! You will not be disappointed!!

Johnny and Annette are great instructors and dive-enthusiasts. I met them just after I started diving two years ago and did my Advanced Open Water with them. I value their advice on equipment as I begin purchasing more gear. And I had a great time on the Grand Bahama trip they worked so hard to organize. Hoping to travel with them again soon.
Scuba Commander is a small shop where the owners give you their personal attention. Johnny and Annette are some of the best instructors I've worked with. I moved here from North Texas in Dec, 2015. Shorty thereafter I began to look for a scuba shop for gear service and to take a dive master course. I went to the other, more well-known shops in the area and they just came up short on wanting my business. One day, I happened to drive up Battlefield Blvd and saw a diver flag on a building. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew this was the place I was gonna be hanging out. This was a Dive Shop, not some underwater boutique. Mark was in the shop that day and after talking to him for a few minutes, I knew this shop had what I wanted. And before I left, I had dropped the money for a dive master course. I've been working with Scuba Commander as a student and now dive master since July of 2016. Sometimes, I just drop in to take my lunch break. That's my kind of place.
Annette and Johnnie are good, honest people. After I became a Divemaster, they, and their instructors played a big role in helping me successfully earn my instructor certification. If you should want to pursue further certification, or if you just want to have fun diving, I highly recommend them.
I just recently got my PADI OW cert from here and have nothing but great things to say. The staff from Annette, John, Mark, etc are top notch. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me pick out the best gear for me.
