Lea is calm, patient, and, above all, an excellent teacher. Her passion for scuba is palpable and she is committed in the best way possible to helping others safely discover and love the sport. I was anxious to learn and could barely stay under in a home swimming pool without my nerves taking over. Lessons with Lea had me diving in Lake Pleasant with zero visibility in about a month! She is the best!!!

Lea and Nate have an excellent business. Leah is a consummate professional when it comes to training and certification. She's patient. She's knowledgeable. Most of all, she's experienced as a diver so your safety is paramount. Rocky Point Scuba Dive equipment is top notch. All regulators have integrated computers for an added level of safety. From start to finish it was an amazing experience getting NAUI certified with Lea as my instructor.

I met Lea about 5 years ago on the beach in Rocky Point. Since then, I have traveled the world with her. She is an awesome woman to know and be friends with. I was nervous to dive at first but Lea was there to help ease my anxiety. I have traveled with her to Bahia and the Bahamas with more trips planned each year. She has been my instructor for open water, advanced, and stress and rescue, with plans to get my master diver. I highly recommend Lea and her husband Nate. Such a great time with Lea! You can't go wrong :)

My wife and I paid for SCUBA certification with Lea. My wife has a disability and Lea was recommended as someone who would help with getting her certified despite that. She committed to that. Unfortunately, Lea is extremely unreliable and is unavailable for lessons with any frequency to allow her to get comfortable with SCUBA. She recommended private lessons but when we showed up, there was usually another student there. We are going elsewhere. I did certify readily. She has refused any refund so that's a grand down the drain. Not recommended if you have any special needs. Edit: By the way, at our final lesson, aside from being generally unsupportive and inattentive, Lea was nearly abusive. She made my wife return the tank (which she is unable to carry) to the compressor room. She was forced to roll it on the ground.

Lea is such a FUN instructor! She made each lesson entertaining & made getting my certification a breeze! I did my first ocean dive with her for a week in Bahia de Los Angeles in Baja MX. We did two dives each day and they were magnificent! Lea knows the ocean so well and I was super comfortable having her as our dive master, I was never hesitant or scared once! I can confidently recommend Lea and Rocky Point Scuba Dive for any scuba adventure you seek, from certifications to deep sea adventures Lea will make it fun, informative, safe, and worth your while every time! I can't wait to go again!!

This past week getting Scuba Certified was amazing! My 13 year old son and I both got certified with Lea as our instructor and she was awesome. Personal lessons are the way to go especially with a kid. She made us both feel very comfortable and was super great at making my son feel at ease. It was very apparent she loves to teach kids. We did our open water certification in Rocky Point and that was a blast. We could tell she knew the Sea of Cortez like the back of her hand! We saw so many cool things under water there and then to top it all off on our last day there we ran into a big pod of dolphins. It was so cool!! Our boat was surrounded by them. Overall the entire experience was great, super fun, very well organized and we will without a doubt continue our training through the Sea of Cortez Adventures with Lea.

Amazing and fun experience when I got certified by Lea. She is extremely patient, safe and has a lot of great experience to learn from. I have continued to take trips with her and she has certified several of my friends which each time is a adventurous and unique experience! I would highly recommend that you use her to get certified and/or any future dive adventures...
