Overall disappointed with the quality of firewood received and the response from the company. Wood came dumped in a mixture of wet mulch and covered in mulch/mud. Almost 1/3 of the logs were way too big and had to be split further. Entire experience was a mess. After speaking with neighbors and friends, most paid the same or less than I did for clean, dry, evenly split as well as stacked firewood. Maybe this picture reflects your expectation of quality firewood service, but it's certainly not mine.

I know they claim that having soaked (not just wet) wood (this stuff looks and feels like it came from the bottom of a pond) means its seasoned but that it not the case. The only thing seasoned about this wood is that maybe you can use it - next season but not anytime soon. There is mold and rot in about 1/4 of the wood. They deliver a bad product and try to make you feel dumb for questioning it. I appreciate them showing what I mean by responding. I will check the total rain participation before I order my wood from now on.
I had firewood delivered to my home in Alexandria VA. Very friendly and accommodating delivery. Great firewood quality and with free delivery Saunders is the cheapest in the area. Inexpensive, but quality. I highly recommend Saunders for firewood delivery in the DMV area and I plan to use them again in the spring for other landscape supplies.
The web site to calculate the amount of mulch to order was easy to use and very helpful. The Saunders representative was polite and professional when I called. The delivery was on time and the gentelman delivering the mulch loved his job and was very pleasant. All around an A experience.
We needed more rocks for our driveway, and Saunders delivered! They called before they arrived, were courteous and kind, met us outside, and even helped distribute the rocks along the path of the driveway. Angelo was the team member that handled the delivery this morning. He did a great job. Thank you, Angelo and the team at Saunders!
