Don't recommend this place!!! Tried to purchase a 2020 golf cart at Affordable Yamaha in San Marcos. They had no problem running our payment but then FAILED to complete in two weeks, which eventually turned into a MONTH with NO COMPLETION DATE INSIGHT. DId some research and found another dealership that had a new Yamaha Golf Cart in stock and ready for delivery. Now the owner of Affordable Golf Carts in San Marcos wants to charge a restocking fee for a golf cart that never left the business property and even though the sales person stated that we were under no obligation to continue, given the unforeseen circumstances. Now Affordable Golf Cart is holding our payment for ransom until we pay a restocking fee. I suppose they are \trying to play hardball\! As a consumer we would advise not to do business with Affordable Golf Carts in San Marcos.

Terrible service- tried making an appt at one of their locations for repairs. Some guy named Van said I needed to drop my golf cart off and they would get around to repairing it in about 2 weeks. I said I’ll just book an appt and drop my cart off in 2 weeks, Van got condescending and rude and said I need to leave it with them at their facility if I wanted to “get in line” for the repair. Sounds sketchy they demand you leave your golf cart with them for 2 weeks on their lot before they get around to repairing it. Will go somewhere else.

Do not recommend this place. John Juarez was great! Knowledgeable & helpful. Answered all our questions and made golf car shopping fun and easy! But we wanted custom work done and that has been a nightmare of delays and missing things and inconveniences. Everyone else we’ve dealt with has not been great and one in particular terrible - complaining and bad mouthing the work done to our cart. We have no confidence in the quality of work now. And we still have an issue being worked on over a month after we purchased it.

We had our 12 yr old Yamaha car picked up for a few repairs plus tires and batteries, etc and I could swear we got a new car back! It's beautiful. Ranger did a wonderful job! Thank you so much!
