I've been to this Italian restaurant several times and I enjoyed each of my visits. The service and food always amazing. Definitely my top favourite Italian restaurant in the city.

Lovely view, friendly staff and delicious food! Had a really great time, would highly recommend. Only con of this visit the Burrata dish was mozzarella fresca and not real Burrata cheese.

5 star experience. Great food, great staff and the drinks are amazing! Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to! Amazing flavor and the dessert was good as well!

I took my girlfriend here for an early Valentine’s Day dinner on the roof, I’m not one to leave reviews especially negative ones but I thought people should be fully aware of this place as it currently is. When we got seated on the roof there was very loud foreign techno music we could barely speak over, patio furniture w/o table cloth, the heater we sat next to ran out of propane w/o a replacement tank, and there were counterweights for the window cleaners in the middle of the restaurant near the table. They did supply blankets and the waiter was nice and fairly responsive. I would count it up to a quirky atmosphere and bad luck, but this isn’t a cheap place and it was one of their busiest weeks of the year. To make matters worse the kitchen couldn’t handle the rush and we had a 35-45 minute wait between courses. The food was decent, but San Francisco has great Italian food. The view was nice as there are few rooftops in SF. I don’t wish to speak badly of any business during this time, but this place isn’t what I would expect for its cost, not that it’s that expensive for sf pricing, just not up to expectations. Also there was a mandatory 20% tip which even with the above mentioned I wasn’t going to undercut a service worker, but it is a high tip for service I wouldn’t say was great (ie: it took us about 10 minutes to flag a waiter for a bottle of wine, the wait between courses) . I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

Can't do 3.5 stars for some reason but had dinner here the other night. We ordered two appetizers, cocktails, entrees, and desserts. The cocktails were a bit disappointing to me. bit too gingery. The appetizers and the wild boar entrée was really good, but the ravioli dish wasn't too great. The crab meat made it a bit too sweet for my taste. My boyfriend liked it though. One thing that I did get annoyed about while dining here was how the waiter kept coming back every 5-8 minutes -- I kid you not. I actually timed it -- as we were eating our entree. He saw that my entree was 3/4 finished, but my boyfriend wasn't and he kept asking when he came back are you done? Can I take this? And I'm like no, I'm still working on it. I don't know about you, but when I'm eating at a restaurant I usually take my time. I don't eat super, super-fast, and as I'm getting full I usually eat a bit slower, so that that was just really annoying. There weren't that many people yet either, so I was really confused about why he kept on doing that. I got so annoyed that the next time he came back, I still had about 2 or 3 more ravioli pieces on my plate that I said, \yeah I'm done.\ Once our entrees were taken away, we ordered a chocolate mousse and cheesecake for dessert. Not to much of a fan of the cheesecake, but I did like the chocolate mousse. The richness was just right. The waiter took our plates away, but never came back to give us the check. It wasn't until we stood up and was about to walk over to the desk that he came back and told us to sit down and he'll bring the check. I'm on the fence about this place. I did enjoy the food and the ambience overall but the service throughout the dinner made it a bit upsetting.
