Food and service is excellent. I had the salt and pepper squid starter and the fish pie for my main and it was amazing. Staff are very friendly and polite, I would highly recommend to anyone. They offer more than fish on the menu as well if your not a huge fish fan. Definitely going back again

Wanted to like it because of the reviews but it wasn’t great, esp the crab linguine which was very bland. The Asian sauce with the calamari was also a bit strange. Might have been an off day.
It was fantastic: great cocktails, fabulous food and excellent service. We loved the seafood chowder, calamari, prawn cocktail and whitebait starters. All were cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and balanced flavour and texture with aplomb. Our mains were excellent too: the crab linguine here is the best and the fish pie was its usual perfect blend of potato and seafood. Today's specials included a delicious mushroom risotto and, even though you can't choose your fish at the counter, there was still a great choice of fresh fish, with the usual selection of sauces and potatoes. Service was excellent as always and we finished off with desserts, with spun sugar. No other restaurant gives you spun sugar! We've been eating here for over 20 years and it's never disappointed.
Very good food and the staff were great, and attentive. Good knowledge of the wine with food. Very good quantities, starter and main course enough. Needed to walk home.
