I really enjoyed my trip to Shades of White. I had to reschedule my appointment because of lockdown 2 and Jo was great about it. I went with my mum and it was lovely to have the salon completely to ourselves. It was much bigger than I expected, clean and smelt wonderful. I do not like shopping and I had no idea what I wanted when I went in; I was also worried that I would feel down because the dresses wouldn’t do up, but there was a great range of sizes and most of the dresses I tried on did up! I left having but a deposit down on a stunning dress that I am so excited to wear. Jo was great and made me feel really comfortable. It was also great to be able to have my maids join in over Zoom. I tried on LOADS of dresses in different shapes, styles, fabrics and colours and settled on the second one I tried on, which was my mum’s choice so it’s a bit more special. I had a great day and I cannot wait to wear my dress when I get married in July

I found THE dress! :) I went with my mum and sister on Wednesday (day before lockdown 2!) And we had the best time! I was a little nervous as I just didn't know what to expect, but Jo was just so kind and put us at ease straight away! The experience was made just so much nicer by having Jo there, she made me feel relaxed and she gave us so much attention and time. You can just tell she has so much experience and knows exactly how to put Brides to be at ease and just makes it such a lovely day! Even better, I said yes to the dress on first visit! I cannot WAIT to come back and have my 1st fitting and see Jo again! :) xx
I wasn't looking forward to trying dresses on as I hate clothes shopping however the moment I stepped through the door I felt at ease. The dresses are gorgeous, I was overwhelmed by how many there were to look at! I was nervous about trying the dresses on as I am not very body confident however Helen was so lovely that I felt comfortable. I absolutely love the dress I picked and felt like a princess in it. Thank you for letting us video chat my mum, who was unfortunately isolating, so she could still be a part of the experience. I can't wait to come back and try my dress on again.
Jo and Helen at the Shades of White team were absolutely impeccable with me for both my virtual and in boutique experiences. I went in thinking I couldn’t pull off anything but baggy and shapeless only to leave with the dress of my dreams! Even during these strange times they managed to deliver amazing customer service and made me feel like the most important person in the room! I can’t wait to go back and try on my dress again :) Thank you ladies for making me believe in myself and helping me to see my own beauty x
