If you are interested in history. If you wont to learn more a bout Roman state, and the other nations, how they lived, what were their relations, what were their customs, what hapend to them true time, you should visit this place. The written material is translated in English. The museum is placed in little village Rusovce, near Bratislava. From Bratislava city center there are several city busses that are going in this direction. The journey last about 20 minutes.

I like this place. I went with my parents and we had a lovely one day-trip.

Interesting Roman site in Rusovce. We visited it on Limes Day - special event in September. The program made this place absolutely more attractive and we liked it very much. Otherwise this place is not as significant for famillies or travelers to visit it except from real lovers of history. There is museum of Roman camp excavations from this area, small but well maintained. We appreciated especially leaflets in more foreign languagues (italian, spanish, russian, etc...) not only in English or German.

A fantastic Roman site and museum to visit a short bus ride from Bratislava. The headstones from the Roman graves discovered in the village are exceptional.

This place is interesting, but there's only a small area to explore. It's quite far away from the centre of Bratislava, so I'd only recommend going if you're already in the area, otherwise it's not really worth traveling to.
