Horrible experience, our washing machine was broken for nearly two months so in that time we had to pay for our laundry to be done elsewhere. Our last two months of utilities were based off of estimates and ended up being more than we paid normally by a lot, which makes absolutely no sense because due to the global pandemic 2 of our 6 residents living were living in the home. Another issue was the complete lack of privacy. When we informed them that we would not be renewing our lease they began giving house tours of our home. We would usually get a heads up that the home was being toured, the issue is this heads up would usually be an hour prior to the tour. As a result it was a common occurrence for me to be woken up by a group of students (In one instance my own classmates) entering my room to tour it. I would advise first time renters to stay as far as humanly possible from RU living, they are nothing but a scam disguised as an off campus alternative to housing...

RU Living, specifically at 12 Bartlett St. apartments is absolutely one of the most greedy and mismanaged corporations I have ever dealt with in my entire life. They incorrectly sent me to a collections agency 2 months after I had moved out without any communication whatsoever, not even an email. When I called them to discuss why I was being charged, Johnathan was extremely rude to me on the phone and blamed me for not looking at the RU living resident portal to see the extra charge that was actually incorrect because the girl who relet my apartment had paid that first months rent already. The entire reletting process was also extremely frustrating and it is clear that this company doesn't care at all about the people who live in their properties. All they care about is money.

This organization is extremely disconnected and don’t know what they are doing. You have to spend so much time and energy to square things out with them. Stay away if you can. Had horrible experience.

Worst apartment complex I have unfortunately had to deal with. Terrible communication when problems needed attention, office staff seemingly stared at the wall all day. Multiple emails and phone calls needed to address any simple issue. My lease ended May 2020 and they never told me I had an outstanding bill: they sent collections to charge me in August 2020. I paid them immediately and they never let collections know: now collections has issued a report and my credit score has gone down!! I don't know how they get away with scamming college students, their behavior is disgusting. STAY AWAY, lease anywhere else literally!!!!
