Re-opened after a year in lockdown and there is dirt, grit and stones all over the bottom of the pool. You would of thought they would of took the opportunity to clean it properly ready for re-opening. Water tasted funny and not like the normal chlorine taste. Overall very unsatisfactory

Scabby service. You need to do better Fusion. I have just returned from Robinson Pool I was hoping to enjoy a swim that I had booked yesterday. I was told at the reception desk that a mistake had occurred . There would be no swimming because they had forgotten to amend the booking system there were swimming lessons but no other swimming for members. I was furious, do Fusion have any managers? If so what are they doing to oversee what is going on ? Management should have been monitoring the situation and should have picked up this error. My friend travelled all the way in from Wootton I planned the whole morning around the swim. A whole morning wasted and the day disrupted because Fusion seem unable to get their act together. I have continued to pay membership during lockdown I will have to reflect on my loyal membership to Robinson Pool.. There was only one member of staff struggling to deal with the situation single handed. Again where were the management team to help? Sort yourself out Fusion you have already lost a lot of long term members because of shoddy service. At this rate there will be no members left. Marion Wallace

Poor. I came in last Friday as the google info said it was open until 10pm. I was informed that it isnt due to a 1 off session that was arranged so my family could only swim for 55 minutes as we arrived at 5pm. We were informed by Nathan on the desk that ig we come the same time next week the pool will be open until 10pm as stated on Google. We just had to walk out as we arrived at 16:45 and was told that the pool will open at 5pm and close at 6pm. Like there's even a point of getting undressed and in the pool with all my kids and get maybe 50 minutes in the pool that was supposed to be owned by the council at one stage. Now the public are begging for scraps and paying 15 pounds for the privilege. Yet again disappointed family. Same info on google and all anyone could tell me was that I should of looked online, which I had. 2 weeks in a row and they refused to print me off a copy of the complaints procedure. This place has gone massively downhill in the 30 years I have been coming. The customer service is absolutely terrible as is the service in general. The pool sessions system are a money rinsing joke and long gone are the days where you can go and swim for a few hours because they have worked the timetable in such a way where everyone has to keep exiting the pool because another type of SHORT session is booked. We probably aren't supposed to see it that way though. Silly public. Im school holidays as well. The place is in desperate need of an upgrade in management. I have travelled 2 weeks in a row from Stewarby just to be appologised to. I hate using my long time favourite swimming pool now and am having to look at pools that other extremely disappointed customers are now advising me that they have had to switch to such as Hitchin Swimming Centre and Everyone Active in Hemmel Hempstead. I would rather be able to use Robinson pool but they've ruined it.

Swimming lessons aways great, struggling with the somewhat strange covid regulations in place. But staff helpful and accommodating, especially as children getting out of school at 4:30 and u try to get home and back in 25 minutes so staff v helpful

Not very clean place. Has the potential but. I was expecting clean water after long covid closure. In your dreams.

I find staff quite unfriendly. I have been going for 1 year and I've had only 1 conversation with the PT's. Changing rooms are like a sauna in an effort to keep the floors dry. I often feel horrible after a good workout in the air conditioned gym walking out into temperatures I would estimate around 30 degrees. Men's changing rooms smell terrible, like they have a sewage problem. Toilets are located in the changing rooms so wet swimmers soak the floor. Changing area is so small it's often overcrowded in the evenings. Last time I used the showers they were very intermittent. Lockers are too small. Cafe is usually closed at 5.30 pm so no coffee or cold drinks. Vending machines are full of sugary drinks and snacks. Members are not encouraged to carry towels in the gym and the equipment is pretty grubby. I'm currently looking to join another gym.
