Terrible lawyer. House fell thru and she refused to deal with lawyer of the people who bought my house. Had to pay bill and find new lawyer. Cost me over 2000 for her alone
Over the past 15 years, Meredith Bateman has assisted me with a Co-Habitation Agreement, the purchase and sale of four homes, a Separation Agreement followed by divorce paperwork as well as a Will and Power of Attorney. I’ve trusted Ms. Bateman again and again with my legal needs as she and her staff are knowledgeable and I’ve come to know her advice she gives during our appointments to have tremendous value.
Appointment started 15 minutes late. Meredith ignored half the family present in the initial greeting. No orientation at the beginning of the session to prepare us. Without the orientation, I had to ask questions out of concern for the other family in the meeting. Even though I explained why I was asking the questions, Meredith immediately got offended. I tried to de-escalate because I was there to accomplish a goal for my family but 2 questions later I had to end the meeting. At the end, she very unprofessionally made it sound like she was kicking me out of her office in front of my handicapped sister. Everyone has bad days but this was a disaster...and why I'm writing this review. I loved that they had a friendly "office dog" and so did my sister but Meredith brought the dog into the meeting once it started and the dog began repeatedly jumping onto the chair my sister was in. It only stopped because I asked if I could put the dog out of the room so my sister could focus. Hate leaving bad reviews but this was really really terrible service!
Absolutely avoid this law office !!! They are rude, grumpy and unprofessional, and do not take the necessary time to understand client needs. No perspicacious tendencies here (as you would want in a good lawyer) ....
