Wonderful restaurant. Given the covid restrictions we were welcomed outside the restaurant and I do mean welcomed. The atmosphere inside was warm and genial with staff bending over backwards to be helpful. It obviously comes from the top as Alfie, the chef/proprietor makes frequent rounds of the tables ensuring everyone is happy. There is an extensive fish and seafood menu with a small number of non-fish options. Every item ordered was exquisite from the oysters through to the pan roasted North Sea Cod. Not cheap, cheap, cheap but fabulous value-for-money. Thanks Alfie and your brilliant team.

Riverhouse was amazing! It had been a few years since I was last in and didn't think it could have gotten any better than it was then, but it has! The food and the warm welcome from Allan and the staff is always exceptional. Can not recommend River House highly enough!

We had the most beautiful meal here, mainly seafood and fish on the menu which is what we were looking for. We have been in Inverness many many times over the years (living in the Western Isles) and did not realise this little gem existed. The restaurant is very intimate and well laid out, the service was excellent, the food was amazing, the chef delivered the dishes personally to the tables, was attentive and spoke to his customers. Do not miss out on the desserts if you have room!! What more can I say apart from the next time I know we are going to be in Inverness we will be booking a table. Not to be missed.

Absolutely amazing food cannot be faulted. Came up from Edinburgh for a weekend visit. Will be back for more. Good atmosphere and great staff included chief who came to the table.
